﷽
Welcome to episode one of the Middle Ground Podcast. For this episode I’m joined by brother Dawud Aleman. I’ve known brother Dawud since I first arrived in SoCal and we hit it off right away. I real genuine spirit, we’d actually been talking for some time about getting a podcast going at Middle Ground and we thought we’d share our mutual, though different, experiences of not only becoming Muslim, but remaining Muslim. We took the statement of the Prophet ﷺ as a springboard and guide for our conversation. We hope you will enjoy it and we ask Allāh to bless it and to make it a benefit. Āmīn.
بَدَأَ الإسْلَامُ غَرِيبًا، وَسَيَعُودُ كما بَدَأَ غَرِيبًا، فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ
"Islam began as something strange, and it will end, as it began, as something strange. So, blessed are those who are strangers." - Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim
